Gavin Alexander Massey (born 4 October 1992) is an English footballer who plays for Yeovil Town on loan from Watford of the Championship.
Massey began his career with his hometown club, Watford. One of the first players to progress through the Harefield Academy, Massey made his first team debut on 2 May 2010, replacing Danny Graham 85 minutes into a 4-0 win over Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.[2][3] He signed his first professional two year contract later that month.[4] He stayed with the Championship club despite interest from Premier League giants Liverpool.[5] He progressed in the 2010–11 season, playing regularly for the reserves and youth team, as well as making further substitute appearances in the first team.[6]
On 12 September 2011, Massey signed on loan with Football League One side Yeovil Town initially for one-month but later extended until January 2012,[7] and scored his first professional goals in the 2-2 draw with Colchester United.[8]
